On this trip you will be able to transport yourself and experience the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez. To do this, you will only have to let your imagination rise, walk through the streets of Mompox, feel the breeze from the Magdalena River and listen to the stories on every corner.
We will review the history of the hand of local guides to learn about the religious architecture of the churches of Santo Domingo, San Juan de Dios, San Agustín and Santa Bárbara. We will also walk the street of La Albarrada where Casa 1734 and the Portales de la Marquesa are located. We will experience their knowledge, trades and customs in the elaboration of the delicious momposino cheese, the forge and the filigree.
They will also be able to travel the Magdalena River by boat and visit the Pijiño swamp, a wonderful place to do bird watching and learn about the flora of the region.
